Prince Giadolor captured the first gold medal for the University of Dallas since the program joined the SCAC. His 10.87 mark in the 100 Meter Dash counted as UD men’s track and field’s first championship since 2004 in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
Prince was also one of the four runners in the 4x100m who broke the school record in three competitions achieved at the Baker Relays, SCAC Championships, and USCAA Championships, respectively. Participating in the relay included: Del Curto, Holdridge, Pierick, and Giadolor. The current mark is 44.05 seconds.
Giadolor led the SCAC Outdoor Performance List in the Track and Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS) once he made his collegiate debut at the McMurry War Hawk. That total was a 10.84 speed and helped him gain SCAC Athlete of the Week. His fastest performance, which remains at the top currently on TFRRS was in the preliminaries of the SCAC Championship. He shaved .01 ticks off that time at a 10.83-clip.
